Pete club Fit club

Being a P.E. major I feel as though I should be involved in both Pete club and Fit club. The are both very great clubs to get involved in to get some experience in teaching. I am looking forward to going to the PSAHPERD convention this year in Valley Forge. I think it will be a good time and it will be nice to meet new people who are in the same major. I wasn't able to go last year when it was in Pittsburgh so this will be another new experience for me. The only thing that won't be fun about it is paying for the registration and hotel room.

procrastination

I have come to the conclusion that I am really good at putting off my homework until the last minute. It's probably not good to procrastinate as much as I do, but sometimes I feel like I work better under pressure. I can't ever seem to get myself to sit down and want to do work or study. Im always wanting to go do other things, like go to the gym or hang out with friends. I will do anything, even clean, before I will sit down to do homework. I don't know what it is, but I have always been like this, even in high school. I get good grades and everything though so I guess as long as I get the work done and turned in on time I will be OK.

The London Trip

Last year I went to London for spring break for the coaching minor. It was so much fun and I think that if anyone ever gets the chance to go on a trip somewhere they definitely should. I made so made many new friends and have many good memories from the trip. While we were in London we went on tours of Wembley Stadium, Wimbledon, Lord's Cricket Ground, Twickenham and Oxford. We also were able to go to the Queen's School of Sports and see how their schools are different from ours. I watched people play cricket for the first time, and also rugby. We were able to go sight-seeing and see Big Ben, Tower of London, the London Eye, Buckingham Palace, and many more. I definitely had the time of my life and I'm so glad I went. It was an awesome experience!

Parking

A couple weeks ago I was looking for a parking spot at Stonecrest (where I live and have a parking pass at) and could not find an open spot. I was angry about this because I pay $50 a semester to park at Stonecrest and half the people that were parked there did't have a parking pass. I decided to park at towers, which is right across the road, and I didn't happen to see the private parking sign. The next day when I went to my car, there was a fine for $100 and a boot on my tire. I was highly upset because not only did I have to pay $100, but I had already paid $50 for a Stonecrest parking pass and another $25 for a commuter parking pass on campus. To say the least I was not in a very good mood. I called the Apartment Store and they were no help. They said I still had to pay the fine. I think the parking situation is ridiculous in Slippery Rock. It is always really hard to find a spot anywhere.
